This was pretty much the band's live starting point and the scene of many great little gigs. The first gigs here were with original drummer Jabba and included many supports to much more established local bands, with "The Rondo" regularly blowing the opposition off stage!

The band's first break also came here with a support slot for (then) media darlings S*M*A*S*H. This resulted in a mention in the NME, leading to record company interest.

It's ( or was ... not sure ) a small underground venue as the name suggests, with loads of atmosphere once you got a few punters in.
