Large riverside venue on the north bank of the Wear. Profondo Rosso played here a couple of times, once headlining an indie club night and once as special guests on a battle of the bands bill. This ensured an audience and injected some talent into what  ( as many battle of the bands contests go )  would have been a mediocre evening! ;-)

This set of shots were taken by Simon Jones who tragically isn't with us now. Guinea to his friends, most recently fronted the Goth-horror band, Moriarti and the Sith. You are missed.
